ROGER DONWAY, a senior research fellow at the Institute for Energy Research, is also TNI’s senior editor. In addition, he weighs in on two thoughtful books that address postmodern and relativist challenges to reason and objectivity.

EDWARD L. HUDGINS, executive director of The Atlas Society, contributes two pieces this month. In the first, Dr. Hudgins’s prescribes his 12-step remedy for Republican spendaholics. In the second, he profiles the good people at the Motion Picture Institute, producers of award-winning pro-freedom, pro-capitalist films.

ROBERT L. JONES, our entertainment editor, pens most of our film reviews. This time, Robert reports on two very different movies that have similar, inspiring themes: Rocky Balboa starring (who else?) Sylvester Stallone and The Pursuit of Happyness.featuring Will Smith. Robert’s whet my appetite to go see both.
