Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel
The war against terrorism....
Conflict with Saddam Hussein....
Hostility from our European allies...
At a time of heightened risk and confrontation, it's important to know what we stand for. Above and beyond our physical safety, important as that is, America has always claimed to fight for its ideals. What are those idealsor what should they be? What are the values we should protect at home and promote abroad? The vague generalities we hear from our leaders are not enough.
David Kelley will highlight the principles at the core of the American way of life. In his wide-ranging talk, he will explain why our values are rejectedby allies in Europe as well as enemies in al Qaeda.
