How long did Ayn Rand work for Frank Lloyd Wright?

Hello Erik, actually Rand worked for a time with the New York architect Ely Jacques Kahn, not Wright.  What’s funny is that she did it for free in order to do research for her book, The Fountainhead.  She worked for him for six months as a clerk and got many of her ideas for the book from him.  When it was published, Kahn apparently loved the book and its glorification of his profession but was wary of her philosophy.

If you want to learn more about Ayn Rand’s life, I suggest you buy The Passion of Ayn Rand by Rand’s longtime associate , Barbara Branden.
