Obama's flaw is that he advocates, much like the liberals of the past, that companies should only exist because they provide a "service to the community/society/state", instead of acknoledging that companies are, or at least should be, an end in itself, in the same way that each man's life should be an end in itself, and that no man should have to justify his existance through the services he renders to others.
This essentially makes him a soft fascist - he is just too cowardly to take the final step with his conclusions and instead settles for pragmatic compromise, which only proves how big a hypocrite he really is. The end result of it all will probably be rejection of murder in favour of "the privilege of commiting suicide", as Ayn Rand put it.
If nothing is done to stop the trend of collectivism, then what will be in the end will be the choice between "voluntary socialism" and communism. And why choose the voluntary path, when arbitrary power can accomplish the task so much quicker? And so begins the next dark ages...
